Interested in mullein for back pain...how much root did you use for the tea?
Also - pignuts are just appearing here ( the meadows will be full of them pretty soon) there's so much you can do with them. Do they grow where you are? My 'apple' friend loves them so much she has even managed to grow them in her garden.
I used the whole (washed and dried) root of a plant that was about 20cm in diameter. Probably used a bit too much, stewed it for about 15 mins.
The pignuts sound amazing, I am yet to try any. Apparently, they grow in the eastern US though so when I make my way over there I will keep an eye out. How did she manage to grow them in her garden? From the nut? I feel a new experiment coming on...
Thanks, will give that mullein tea a go. Apparently the pignuts were originally a few plants from a wild plant grower...they are rather temperamental to grow from seed/nut but do self seed once happy!
